The LFST is being operated as an "Enterprise Center" of ODU's College of Engineering and Technology (COET), with the support of the ODU Research Foundation (ODURF) and ODU’s Department of Aerospace Engineering. All commercial test operations will be performed by ODU’s experienced full-time wind tunnel staff and on-site support contractors, augmented by ODU faculty and graduate students when appropriate. A full range of specialized support functions can be provided by other local subcontractors as required.
