In this era of increased environmental pressure, alternative energy systems are rapidly evolving.

A wind tunnel provides a controlled environment for accurate performance measurements, such as the power output and efficiency of a new wind turbine.

Wind loading and its effect on structures may be quantified under controlled conditions. This testing has proved extremely useful both for clients that have the goal of meeting construction codes or for creating a database of aerodynamic loads as a function of wind direction.
